Oblivious to the worldwide pandemic, flora and fauna continue to flourish and it is business as usual for those within the protected wildlife corridor of Datai Bay. For these, our most valued permanent residents, it’s just another day lounging, foraging, and playing at home.
Not everyone is on lockdown as seen by the antics of the Dusky Langur at The Garden. The Monkey Garden tempts with fruit trees planted just for them but with hardly anyone around, they have a field day at the Permaculture Garden too. As do the Trigona Itama Stingless Bees pollinating the many flowers around the resort. Watch the close up of their unique hives with its alien-like pods filled with honey and pollen.
