Day 01
Departure from Cusco
The journey begins with an exclusive train ride from Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inca empire, to Puno. During the journey, you can rest in a spacious cabin and enjoy Andean specialties served in a contemporary style for lunch.
Stopover at Raqch'i
After lunch, the train will stop at Raqch'i, an archaeological site that was once an important fiefdom for the Incas.
Continuing to Puno
Next, you will be taken through the mountains of La Raya to enjoy stunning sunset views, while waiting for dinner to be ready. Later that evening, the train will continue its journey to its first destination, Lake Titicaca in Puno.
Day 02
Sunrise on Lake Titicaca
Today's itinerary opens with watching the sunrise over Lake Titicaca, before enjoying breakfast on a traditional boat and sailing to the Uros Islands.
The islands are man-made landmasses composed of woven reeds.
Taquile Island
Taquile Island is an island whose inhabitants have a way of life almost untouched by time. At its Collata Beach you can enjoy lunch while watching a traditional dance performance by local dancers.
Afternoon Tea
Enjoy afternoon tea at the station before departing for Arequipa. After boarding, you will have dinner and a cozy cabin to rest in.
Day 03
Lake Legunillas and Sumbay Cave
After breakfast, enjoy a short stop at Lagunillas Lake and Sumbay Cave which is full of ancient paintings almost 8,000 years old.
Ending the Journey in Arequipa
After lunch, the train will continue to Arequipa, which is the final destination. Upon arrival in Arequipa, you can say your goodbyes or take a short city tour.
