Day 3 – 6

Osaka | 3 Nights

Osaka is Japan’s second largest metropolitan area after Tokyo.
Bustling & energetic,Osaka is a thriving metropolis with a distinct commercial culture and with a regional identity that sets it apart from elsewhere in Japan.

During your stay in Osaka enjoy the following activities:

Shinsaibashi & Dotonbori
One of Osaka’s most popular tourist destinations, this street runs parallel to the Dotonbori canal. It is a popular shopping and entertainment district and is also known as a food destination. At night it is lit by hundreds of neon lights and mechanized signs, including the famous Glico Running Man sign and Kani Doraku crab sign.
Shinsaibashi Shopping Arcade and the surrounding Shinsaibashi area is Osaka’s premiere shopping center. Approximately 600 m long, this area is unique as it combines chain retail stores and trendy boutiques with expensive department stores and top designer fashion labels.

Daytrip to Kyoto
Only 1 – 1,5 hours from Osaka, Kyoto would be one of the option to visit. The famous Fushimi Inari Shrine and Kiyomizudera Temple are the best place to visit in Kyoto.

Daytrip to Arashiyama and Sagano
Arashiyama is a pleasant, touristy district in the western outskirts of Kyoto. The walking paths that cut through the bamboo groves make for a nice walk or bicycle ride. The groves are particularly attractive when there is a light wind and the tall bamboo stalks sway gently back and forth.

Day 6 – 9

Takayama | 3 Nights

Takayama is a city in the mountainous Hida region of Gifu Prefecture. Takayama retains a traditional touch like few other Japanese cities, especially in its beautifully preserved old town.

During your stay in Takayama enjoy the following activities:

Shirakawago 

Distance from Takayama to Shirakawa-go only 1 – 1,5 hours.
The historic villages of Shirakawago and Gokayama are UNESCO World heritage sites which is located across the border of Gifu and Toyama prefecture in Central Japan.
Winter in Shirakawago is really cold, but it’s considered as the best season to visit there as the whole village turns into a magical snow wonderland.

Takayama Morning Market
Takayama morning market is one of the biggest morning markets in Japan. It takes place at two locations: One is held in front of the Takayama Jinya, and the other at the Miyagawa River side. At the Miyagawa market, sixty shops and stalls are open in approximately 350 meters from Kaji bashi Bridge to Yayoi bashi Bridge along the Miyagawa River in the center of the town. The stalls on river side sell vegetables, fruits, pickles and spices while shops on the other side sell Japanese sweets and crafts.

Nature Art of Okuhida
Okuhida is a remote region of GifuPrefecture in the mountains of the Northern Japan Alps- Technically part of Takayama City.
Okuhida is famous for its hot springs with views of the surrounding Northern Japan Alps. You can ride a ropeway here, The Shin-Hotaka Ropeway is one of Japan’s most unique ropeways.

Day 9 – 13

Hakuba | 4 Nights

Hakuba located in the Northern Alps of Nagano Prefecture, is one of Japan’s most popular ski areas, offering good snow and several large ski resorts to choose.
Hakuba Valley includes 11 ski resorts which provides an array of terrain for all desires and abilities. Ski resorts within Hakuba can be accessed with a common Hakuba Valley lift ticket along with the free shuttle buses which make it easy to get to any of the ski resorts within Hakuba.
In addition to skiing and snowboarding, there are hot springs (onsen) available around town.

Spend 1 day to visit Nagano, where you can see The Snow Monkey. Nagano’s Jigokudani Monkey Park is home to a particularly curious troop of Japanese macaques who have achieve worldwide fame due to a unique, captivating behaviour – they are the only troop of monkeys in the world known to enjoy bathing in natural hot springs!

Day 13 – 15

Hakone | 2 Nights

Hakone is part of the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park. Famous for hot springs, natural beauty and the view across Lake Ashinoko of nearby Mount Fuji, Hakone is one of the most popular destinations among Japanese and international.

Gotemba Premium Outlet 
The Gotemba Premium Outlets are Japan’s most popular outlet mall, located in Gotemba City at the base of Mpunt Fuji not far from Hakone. The mall features over 200 stores along with a number of restaurants, a food court and a 50 meter high ferris wheel.
The stores found at the Premium Outlets are the outlets of internationally known brands of fashion, sports, food, household goods and electronics, and range from everyday items to luxury goods. The prices are not ridiculously cheap, but they are better on average than what you will find at regular retail shops in Japan.

Lake Ashinoko
The best views of the lake in combination with Mount Fuji can be enjoyed from Moto-Hakone (a few steps south from the sightseeing boat pier), from the Hakone Detached Palace Garden and from the sightseeing boats cruising the lake.

Hakone Open Air Museum
The Hakone Open Air Museum successfully attempts to create a harmonic balance of nature and art by exhibiting various sculptures on its grounds in combination with views of the surrounding valley and mountains.
The museum has various different sections and exhibition spaces outdoors and indoors. The Picasso Exhibition Hall is one such space and showcases two stories of paintings, sculptures and ceramic works by the artist in addition to photos of him at various points during his life.

Day 15 – 17

Tokyo | 2 Nights

Spend for another days in Tokyo and just enjoy the city before flight back to your lovely country.

Gourmet Tour in Tokyo
Tokyo received the largest number of Michelin stars among cities in the world, which arguably gives the city the title of one of the “Gourmet Capitals of the World”.
Visit Tsukiji Outer Fish Market, one of the world’s largest seafood markets. Stroll around the market to see various Japanese food including fish, seafood, meat, vegetables, tea and ingredients that play important roles in Japanese cuisine. Enjoy tasting fresh sashimi, grilled seafood, fish cake, egg omelette, even dim sum and Japanese croquettes.

VIP Traditional Tea Ceremony at Cultureal Heritage House
We are fortunate enough to have been allowed to bring a limited number of guests to visit this special tea house, normally open through referrals or to VIP guests.
Sadō, or Japanese tea ceremony, is widely regarded as one of Japan’s most valued artistic traditions, and has had prominent influence on other elements of Japanese culture.
