Day 1 – 4

Grumeti Private Game Reserve | 3 Nights

You will start your journey by flying from Dar Es Salaam International Airport to your accommodation at Grumeti Private Game Reserve.

On the north-western border of the renowned Serengiti National Park, you’ll find the Grumeti Game Reserve: a migratory corridor for herds of animals naturally passing through the area.

Day 4 – 7

Volcanoes National Park | 3 Nights

Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda is best known for mountain gorilla trekking but the park is also rich with many other exotic activities for one to take on.

You will be transferred from your accommodation to Sasakwa Airstrip and flight to Kigali International Airport via Mwanza.

During your stay, you will experience the following activities:

Kigali City Tour

Kigali is only 2 hours from Volcanoes National Park. Visit the genocide museum then head to historical sites before enjoying a gourmet lunch (not included). After lunch we take a stroll past the market and visit the weaving ladies. You will be dropped off at Kigali Serena after your tour.

Gorilla Trekking

Enjoy the once in lifetime experience, Gorilla Trekking. A wildlife experience with the magnificent mountain gorilla is like no other. Savour every second as you watch them foraging, playing, teasing each other, eating or slumbering in an uncanny resemblance to ourselves. At times the trek to view them may be arduous, with steep rises covered in dense vegetation. Inhabiting areas which are not easily reachable, gorillas reside where there is an abundance of food plants near the ground and think nothing of climbing incredibly lofty hills to get to them. Your formidable trek will be richly rewarded when you first set eyes on these extraordinary creatures. Try to spend as much time as possible in this phenomenal part of Rwanda, as it is a very special place.

Day 7 – 9

Ngorongoro Crater | 2 Nights

Northern Tanzania Safari should ideally include a visit to Ngorongoro Crater. It is one of the most beautiful natural wildlife safari sites in the world and an exceptional place to interact with people from the Maasai tribe.

You will transferred to Kigali International Airport and Flight to Manyara Airstrip.

Enjoy Lake Manyara National Park offers a wilderness experience in diverse habitats, from its Rift Valley soda lake to dense woodlands and steep mountainsides. Apart from a spectacular setting, the park is famous for its unusual tree-climbing lions and the vast elephant herds it was established to protect.

The shores of the lake, encrusted with pink flamingo, attract more than 400 species of birds, many of them waterfowl or migrants. Large herds of buffalo, cheetah, Masai giraffe and impala roam the lake shores and the forested valley slopes.
