Venice | 3 Nights
Welcome to Venice, known as “Queen of the Adriatic” or City of Water. Its lagoon, carnival, masks, palaces, and canals are simply extraordinary. It is the city of water par excellence, the largest maritime power in Europe, ruling overall trade in the Mediterranean a few centuries ago.
Venice is one of the most famous travel cities, as it is the most requested romantic destination with its many attraction. Small streets with no traffic, along the winding canals make for a great walk.
Historical evidences suggest that refugees founded Venice. When Germanic tribes ravaged northern Italy in the 5th century, many mainlanders escaped to this difficult-to-access area on the Adriatic Sea.
Early 20th century, it saw the opening of the motor and rail bridge between Venice and the mainland, which led this city to come out on top as a tourist destination. It is hard to navigate around the city, but don’t let that put you off, as this is part of Venice’s charm. Leave the other tourists at St Mark’s square and the Rialto Bridge and explore the maze-like little neighborhoods instead.
Upon your arrival in Venice International Airport, your personal assistant will meet you in the arrival hall to escort you to your hotel with your driver.
