Day 1 - 3
Central Java | 3 Nights
Jakarta – Cirebon (On The Road)
Depart at 7AM from Jakarta and onboard a luxury bus for a 3 hours drive by toll to Cirebon.
Jakarta – Cirebon : 220 km (3 hours)
Get up close with Cirebon’s nature and culture. Joined by our local guide upon arriving in the city, we visit the famous historical attractions, Keraton Kacirebonan and Sunyaragi Cave.
After the sightseeing, enjoy a local lunch known not only for its grilled shrimp and water crest belacan, the restaurant is located in the cliff facing the Cirebon city offering the best view.
Javanese Afternoon Tea & Jajanan Pasar
Depart at from Cirebon to Borobudur with a stop for Javanese afternoon tea and “jajanan pasar” in Semarang.
The important part of the Javanese culture is its “dessert” or “jajanan pasar” meal time, a well-set and nicely decorated colourful assorted snacks serve with traditional black coffee or tea. Most of the “Jajanan Pasar” food here is different to what you will find elsewhere, offering mouthwatering dishes rarity anywhere on Java.
Disclaimer: Due to COVID-19, we will not bring you to the local market but to different local place that serve local traditional snacks and tea / coffee instead with a proper place with COVID-19 measure taken in place.
Continuing the journey from Semarang to Borobudur, Magelang for about 2 hours drive (100 km). Overnight in Borobudur area.
Borobudur Sunrise with Archeologist
Wake up early in the morning head to the Borobudur Temple to witness the magical sunrise. Feel the mystical atmosphere when the first rays of the day breach the horizon between the stupas and the morning mist.
An archeologist will follow and guide you trough the temple explaining the architecture of the temple and how it is connected with Buddhism values.
– Borobudur can only be visited until the court of Temple, hike up to main temple is not allowed currently until further notice

Village Cycling Tour
Spend one morning exploring the local village by bicycle or have one of Amanjiwo drivers take you on a tour to experience the real life of Central Java. Close by, you can explore Nampan village where they make homemade tofu from start to finish. This process involves several steps from soaking and crushing the Soya bean, to pressing the final product ready for market. Continue on and watch the craftsmen of Nglipoh village throwing traditional pottery in all shapes and sizes, used in households all over Java. During this tour you will experience first-hand how the local Javanese people live and interact with their local environment and witness age old skills, famous for this part of Indonesia.

VW Cabrio Tour
Sit back and relax on a Classic Volkswagen Safari Car as you ride through the surrounding area of Borobudur and local villages. Discover more about life in the countryside and experience the traditional process of creating batik at batik home industry, before witnessing the local honey harvest in action.
Day 4 - 6
Eastern Java | 3 Nights
Enroute to Solo
Depart from your resort for your journey to Solo, from Magelang will take about 2 and a half hours drive (100 km)
Make a stop for visit Triwindu Antique Market located in the heart of Solo. It is the center of excitement for lovers and collectors of antiques. Upon entering the market complex, be greeted by a pair of statues, a man and a woman sitting in the cross-legged position. Solely dedicated to the sale of antiques, the atmosphere in Triwindu differs from other markets. Then you will also have chance to visit Royal Palace at Solo.
Solo to Bromo / Malang
From here we will proceed to either Bromo or Malang to stay overnight. Long drive from here as it will take almost 5 hours (328 km) from Solo via highway.
Malang By Becak
Awarded as the loveliest town in South East Asia during the colonial times, Malang has its own charm attracting you to drift along in an air of nostalgia where old Dutch planters and civil servants used to retire to a life of ease and luxury.
Highlight of this unique guided tour are the traditional bird and flower market, the old Dutch historical neighborhood of Oro Oro Dowo with the oldest market in Malang, its most famous boulevard, Jalan Ijen and Malang’s china town where an old and largest Chinese temple “Klenteng Eng An Kiong” lies gracefully.
This tour will last around 3 hours, letting the charms of this old town allure you into a relaxed ride. The tour rate includes the ride in becak, complimentary mineral water, seasonal fruit platter, soft drinks and a small snack at Und Corner café (Jalan Ijen) and an English speaking enthusiastic guide.
Malang Temples and City Tour
Malang’s nostalgic atmosphere results from the fact that Dutch planters and civil servants used to retire here until the early 1900s. Many old houses and buildings from ‘Tempo Doeloe’ (Dutch Colonial times) are still available and well maintain, also some small antiques shops are worth to visit.
The tour would include a visit to Wonosari Tea Plantation also.This vast and beautiful plantation is situated on the slope of Mount Arjuna, about 30 km from Malang, with a view of Mt. Arjuna. The visitors may watch the tea leaf picking, the process of tea-making, as well as other traditional daily activities of this tea plantation.
Malang also inherited many ancient “candi”; beautiful remains of kingdoms from many hundreds years ago, not only in the Island of Java but also other parts of Southeast Asia. As a fertile region, Malang and its surrounding was once the centre of political power of the 8th century Kanjuruhan Kingdom, which explains why Malang region has many archaeological relics. Even after the collapse of the Kingdom of Singosari, Malang region remained to be an important region for the following dynasties of East Java.
Bromo is more than just a landscape; it is imbued with the culture and heritage of the tribes who make that landscape their home. Sacred Bromo lets you discover one of the unique worship rituals that takes place here, on the slopes of Mount Bromo itself.
You will learn the fascinating history of Mount Bromo and its Tengger tribe, on a trip to a sacred cave hidden away at the foot of the mountain, where a holy fountain and altar are located. At this spot, the Tenggerese people place offerings on the altar, perform ablutions with holy water in a ceremony known as tirto aji, and pray to the ancient gods for a prosperous and fertile future.
The site is also a spiritually potent destination for meditation. If you begin your journey during the day, you may close it with sunset at Bromo Savannah.
This cooking experience above the clouds is designed to excite your senses. Delve into a cooking class with a local chef to discover the harmony of natural food produced by farmers from the local community and taste the many wonderful flavours of Indonesian cuisine.
Pick out your own vegetables if your trip coincides with the harvest season or choose your ingredients from a traditional market in a nearby village. Once you have the expertise and the ingredients, get ready to cook up a storm overlooking dramatic views of the rolling hillsides of Bromo.
Day 7 - 9
Banyuwangi | 3 Nights
Enroute to Banyuwangi
This morning continuing your journey to the tip of eastern Java, Banyuwangi with lunch stop at Probolinggo which is located 3 hours away (120 km) from Bromo / Malang.
We recommend you to have a stop at Rumah Makan Handayani which is one of the most proper restaurant with 50 years of history serving a traditional and authentic Eastern Java dishes.
Ijen Crater Experience
The biggest lake crater in Indonesia with its magical blue fire should definitely be on top of your list. At 2,300 metres above the sea level, this one-of-a-kind landscape was formed some 300,000 years ago by volcanic activities that left the area highly acidic.
Experience the adventure of a lifetime with a night hike to the summit of Ijen volcano, one of the wonders of Java. Travellers from all around the globe come to witness its mesmerizing blue flames, a natural phenomenon inside the crater, and its magnificent scenery offering a glimpse of heaven on earth.

Menjangan Island Escapade
Located in West Bali National Park, Menjangan Island is well known for its pristine underwater world, making it a dream diving and snorkeling destination. Immerse yourself in its calm waters, floating amidst beautiful coral gardens and diverse marine life. A spectacular experience.

You don’t need to travel to Africa to experience the thrill of a safari. Head instead to Baluran National Park whose wide-open savanna grasslands are home to a myriad of wildlife roaming free. Covering 250 sq km, the park is well worth visiting to catch sight of native creatures such as the endangered Javanese water buffalo and the Javan Rusa Deer as well as a variety of spectacular birds, including hornbills and peacocks. It is sure to be a day of precious memories.
4-Wheel Drive Jungle Adventure
“Alas Purwo“ means “ancient forest“ in Javanese. The national park is not only well known for its wildlife and a great surfing spot called G-Land but also for the traditional Javanese mysticism; followers believe that this jungle has been a holy place and safe haven for spirits, ghosts and supernatural life for thousands of years.
Embark on a 4×4 jeep adventure into this magnificent jungle and be amazed by the sight of the endangered Javanese bull (Bos Javanicus) in its original habitat.
Crossing to Bali Island
This morning you will be heading to Ketapang harbour to take a ferry across to Bali Island. The journey will take about 45 minutes to an hour.
- Please be there at least 1 hour before the departure time. During COVID-19 period, the capacity of the ferry will be reduced to 60 – 75% off the maximum.
- You will need to bring your ID Card (KTP) / any citizenship card or student card, and also a negative result of Rapid Test valid for 14 days since the day you take the test. We will arrange one rapid test for you in Banyuwangi to bring along to the ferry
- We recommend you to take a private yacht for crossing, and the land transport can run empty with your luggages to wait for you in Bali Island via the ferry. As this will also allows you to enjoy your afternoon going around northern Bali rather than queuing for ferry and the procedure will be much different than having your own private yacht / boat to transfer you across.
Upon arrival in Bali Island, you can either enjoy your stay in Menjangan island, or you can continue your journey to your designated destination.
