A few decades later, Edo had grown into one of the world’s most populous cities. With the Meiji Restoration of 1868, the emperor and capital moved from Kyoto to Edo, which was renamed Tokyo. Your visit to Tokyo would not be complete without seeing Tsukiji fish market. This market ranks at the top in every measurable category, importing a diversity of seafood among the wholesale fish markets of the world from 6 countries on six continents. You will enjoy strolling around with the known local Chef and choose fresh seafood for your Sushi lessons.
