Day 1 - 4
The Resort at Paws Up | 3 Nights
The Resort at Paws Up is located just 35 miles (40 minutes) from Missoula International Airport. Paws Up is the First and True Montana Luxury Resort and ranch. It is a 37,000 acre working Montana ranch. In addition to the over three hundred head of resident elk, you are very likely to see a couple hundred head of stunning Black Angus cows roaming the rolling pastures of the Ranch.
During your stay you can enjoy the following optional activities:
- Horseback riding adventure
The Resort at Paws Up is home to one of the most impressive and expansive equestrian programs in North America
- ATV Tour
You’ll scale mountains like they’re molehills, slice through streams, power through brush and even cruise through a ghost town. The backdrop is gorgeous, the pace is moderate and the exhilaration is unforgettable.
- Sporting Clay
Sporting clays is a challenging, fun and competitive clay target game that simulates actual field hunting. Shoot on specially designed courses that resemble real-life field conditions; the lure of the game lies in its realism. Sporting clays installation features a scenic 10-station course that throws a diversity of aerial target presentations. The clays cross, climb, zip in, fly out or streak high overhead at speeds and angles accurately simulating the flight patterns of game birds.
Get your adrenaline pumping, boost your spirit and get a little splat-happy with our paintball course. This course offers a variety of game scenarios. If you’re wondering what to wear, they will have you covered, literally—no taking home paint-splattered clothes.
From here you will be headed to Yellowstone Area.
Day 4 - 6
Yellowstone Area | 2 Nights
Yellowstone National Park’s 2 million acres are home to an incomparable combination of natural beauty, rugged wilderness, majestic peaks and abundant wildlife, as well as the world’s largest concentration of geysers and thermal features. The iconic spots—Old Faithful, Lower Falls and Yellowstone Lake—may be familiar from paintings and photographs, but seeing them in person is a humbling, enthralling experience that visitors can enjoy year-round.
You will enjoy the following tours:
Full Day Upper Yellowstone Tour
You will observe the travertine formations of Mammoth Hot springs, explore the Lamar Valley (called the Serengeti of North America) and we might even stretch our legs with a short hike up to a view point or down to a river. We will stop for a gourmet picnic lunch in the valley where elk and bison roam. We will have a chance to stop at waterfalls and even a petrified red wood tree!
Full Day Highlight Lower Yellowstone Tour
The second day includes a private tour of the southern loop of the park. We will stop at geyser basins, waterfalls, canyons, hot springs and more. As we drive through the park, we will keep our eyes peeled for bison, elk, grizzly bears, and wolves! Around midday, we will stop for a delicious picnic lunch in a shaded forest. Our guides will share stories of the park’s human and geological history as well as information about flora and fauna and Yellowstone trivia.
Next, you will be transferred to your accommodation at Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Day 6 - 9
Jackson Hole | 3 Nights
Wildlife viewing, national parks, historic, western town make Jackson Hole the ideal location for your family getaway.
You will enjoy the Grand Teton Half Day Tour as the following:
Featuring some of the country’s most dramatic scenery, Grand Teton National Park includes spectacular snow-capped peaks, their profiles reflected in fjord-like lakes and a slowly flowing river. No matter what the season, the park presents an array of sights, smells, sounds, and outdoor activities.
Without much warning, the Grand Tetons rise 7,000 feet almost straight up from the Jackson Hole Valley. The range’s serrated granite peaks are so perfectly proportioned they seem born of a landscape artist’s imagination rather than Mother Nature. Named by French-speaking trappers who ventured through the region in the early 19th century, they are the youngest mountains in the Rockies and certainly the most handsome, their gorgeous facades mirrored in six lakes and sinuous Snake River along their eastern edge.
End of journey.
