Day 1:

Arrival in Bordeaux and transfer to your hotel.

Afternoon at leisure.

Dinner at the restaurant of the hotel, by Joel Robuchon.

3 night stay at your hotel in Bordeaux, Hotel de Seze.

Day 2:

Bordeaux – Arcachon – Pilat – Bordeaux (140km)

Breakfast at your hotel and then road to La Teste de Buch.

Visit of the highest dune in Europe, the Great Dune of Pyla. Reaching an height of 107 meters, the view is spectacular with the ocean coast, the inlet of the Bay, the large pine forest and when the sky is very clear, the Pyrenees Range.

Continuation to Arcachon, and his bay. Shaped by fishing and oyster farming, the Bay has retained its authenticity through changing winds and turning tides.

Oyster tasting followed by Lunch of local specialties at restaurant.

The afternoon, return to Bordeaux and afternoon at leisure.

To see in Bordeaux: the Grand-Théâtre, built in the 18th century. Admire the sculptures of muses and goddesses overlooking the Place de la Comédie as well as the city’s famous mascarons (stone faces), wrought iron balconies, historic inscriptions, and a host of other architectural details.

Day 3:

Bordeaux – Full day in the vineyards – Bordeaux (200km)

Breakfast at your hotel.

In the morning, visit and wine-tasting in the Chateaux Smith Haut Lafitte (Graves). Then, road to the Château d’Arche (Sauternes).

Lunch of local specialties at gastronomic restaurant. The afternoon, departure for the St-Emilion vineyards through the superb landscape of the Entre Deux Mers. Visit and wine-tasting in the Château de Beausejour, then guided visit of the medieval village of St-Emilion and its underground monuments.

Return to Bordeaux.

Day 4:

Breakfast at your hotel. After this, get ready for transfer to airport to fly to next famous Food region – Dijon (via Lyon).

On your arrival, you will be picked up in the airport and transferred to Dijon (approx. 1h45min) and to your hotel – Globe & Cecil. Dinner at your hotel.

Day 5:

Breakfast at your hotel.

In the morning, road to Dijon

The visit will takes you thought Dijon pedestrian streets, wind between medieval houses, churches and Renaissance townhouses. You will discover the place de la liberation, one of the loveliest squares in France, the Chaterhouse with Puits of Moise an extraordinary example of the splendors of the medieval Burgundian sculpture, and the covered market built by the Eiffel Company.

Lunch of local specialties at gastronomic restaurant in Dijon.

The afternoon, discover of the vineyards and the back country of Burgundy. After a stroll through the Cote de Nuits vineyards, winemaking villages, medieval houses, church and castles, you will visit the Château de Clos Vougeot. On the trail of the Cistercians monks, you will explore the wine-making facilities built between the 12th and the 16th century: vat rooms, presses and the monk’s cellar.

Then road head through the ancient forest and picturesque countryside of the Hautes Côtes. Discover the 18 century Burgundy canal in the heart of Ouche Valley. At the end of the visit, you will participate in a comparative tasting of Great Burgundy Wines in a traditional cellar. Selection of Pinot Noirs and white wines paired with a savory choux « Gougere » pastry, a traditional Burgundy appetizer.

Early dinner at local restaurant before you return to your hotel.

Day 6:

Breakfast at your hotel. After, you are transferred to train station to take scenic ride (1,5h) to Paris. On your arrival, you will be picked up at the Central train station and transferred to your hotel.

Overnight in New Hotel Roblin or Hotel Saint James d’Albany.

Day 7:

Paris Gastronomic Tour – Domain d’Andlau – Le Train Bleu

Breakfast at your hotel.

The morning city tour of Paris guided by an expert food connoisseur who will take you through a number of Paris neighborhoods to visit French bakery, pastry shop, French Caterer, wine shop… Always with illuminating commentary on Paris sights and history.

Transfer to the private mansion of the Andlau lords, located near the Bois de Boulogne. In a former private hotel, built in 1926 for the Maharajah de Kapourtala, the cellar master will present you the exploitation and its history, and the different techniques of wine making. The visits end by wine tasting in this extraordinary setting.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

The afternoon, stroll on Notre Dame Island, before assists to seminary on cheeses and good wines in a traditional 17th cellar.

Our Master cheesemonger offers only artisan farmhouse cheeses. He will explain the stages of cheese making, from mixing to maturity, the different families of cheese (soft cheses, blue cheeses, and hard cooked cheeses, to name a few), as well as the origin of terroir of certain specialty cheeses.

Dinner at the famous restaurant Le Train Bleu, one of the most beautiful restaurants of Paris. Emblem of the Belle Époque with its decor, Le Train Bleu in Paris takes you to the edge of the Mediterranean through its mural frescoes. A unique place, dazzling, magical.

Then, get ready for your airport transfer for International departure or extend your stay in Paris.
